COST AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the definition of scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track progress. Manage changes to the scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders & perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Delegate tasks based on staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
  • Track performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make necessary adjustments & conducts client visits and quality audits on site.
  • Conducts time and motion studies and implementation of proposed systems upgrades and changes.
  • Interpret and review drawings e.g., RCP, network plans, mechanical, structural, and architectural plans.
  • Coordinate with the system design team and technical management group regarding non-compliance issues.
  • Documents all QA findings, analyses possible root causes, develops a monitoring system, andformulate suggested corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure that checking is done in a timely manner to meet the date of submissions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering Field. (Licensed).
  • Preferably with 10 years’ experience in Cost and Controlling.
  • Technically Strong in Project cost planning, monitoring, and controlling.
  • Well versed with Project cost Control techniques and management.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the subject matter and all aspects of the contract (e.g., technical specifications, terms of reference, conditions of contract, remedies etc.) and full Job Type: Full-time.
