COST ENGINEER – PALAWAN

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the project through monitoring and analyzing in terms of cost, materials, manpower and other resources that are needed for the execution of the project. Also, for the PMT/Client concerns with regards to any commercial concerns such as change order proposals, additive/deductive and billings.

DUIIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the development of the committed cost with WBS and estimate of all materials needed for the project
• Supervises and leads the estimating works together with other engineers (field or PMO Department) for the committed cost and reconcile with the QS department.
• Responsible for the monitoring of project cost, coordination to CCM and QS department, checking of PR & P.O and cost

  proposals for change order and additional works.

• Leads the commercial team in the absence of the commercial head. Delegates daily works and targets of the site commercial team.

• Checking and control of materials requests, issuances and deliveries through the Office Engineer and Warehouseman

• Checking and approval of subcon billing.

• Prepares reports for weekly and monthly meetings with the management and for the client.

• Responsible for the Project Closeout report and closeout of all project accounts including P.O of Subcon and other vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS

. Education

• Engineering graduate preferably CE
• Licensed / Not Licensed Engineer

• At least 3 years’ experience w/ the position
