FIELD ARCHITECT

JOB SUMMARY

Oversees the on-site management and execution of architectural designs the construction phase of a project. Focuses on ensuring that the architect’s vision is faithfully implemented, while also addressing any issues that arise during construction.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the construction process to ensure that architectural plans and specifications are being followed.
  • Monitor the quality of material and workmanship to ensure compliance with design standards.
  • Address any discrepancies or challenges that arise on site, such as design conflicts, construction delays, or material shortages.
  • Collaborate with contractors and engineers to find practical solutions without compromising the design vision.
  • Ensure that the construction meets local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is progressing according to schedule.
  • Assist in coordinating changes to the original design and make sure any updates are implemented correctly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
  2. Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in Architecture or Construction. With strong understanding of building design and construction processes.
