QAQC SUPERVISOR – HEAD OFFICE

JOB DESCRIPTION

The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the diligent implementation of standard quality assurance and quality control procedures on all the project sites. This role involves active monitoring and coordination with QAQC staffs on site with regards to the construction activities, materials, and workmanship to guarantee strict adherence to project plans, specifications, drawings, applicable building codes and industry standards. The QA/QC Supervisor will conduct regular audits, inspections, identify non-conformities, facilitate corrective actions, and maintain comprehensive quality documentation.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing and enhancing the Company’s QAQC manual and standard program.
  • Ensure that all quality control checks and tests are performed by the project site QAQC staff according to the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and project requirements.
  • Collates all the project site QAQC documents
  • Issues Non-Conformance Reports for any deviations from quality standards or specifications found or observed during site audits.
  • Tracks the status of NCRs of all project sites, ensure timely corrective and preventive actions, and verify their effectiveness upon re-inspection.
  • Coordinates with Project Managers to address quality concerns and implement corrective measures.
  • Conducts Monthly Meeting with all project site QAQC staff to discuss their respective project’s quality performance and issues.
  • Ensure all construction methods and procedures comply with the project’s Quality Plan that was establish prior to the start of the project.
  • Monitors the handover process of all project sites to the client, ensuring smooth process.
  • Mentors and trains cadet engineers with regards to the QAQC standard program and processes.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred but not required)
  1. Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in construction quality control or assurance
  • At least 3–5 years in a supervisory or lead QA/QC role.

    The QA/QC Architect, in the role of Site Representative, will be tasked with processing Management system documents and ensuring the day-to-day adequacy of Quality Management System implementation. This involves conducting detailed reviews to assess how the system is established, operated, and modified when necessary.
